Strategic Land and Planning Director
With 20 years of experience in planning and development, Duncan began his career in local government before moving into property consultancy. Since 2010, his focus has been exclusively on strategic land for residential development.
Duncan has negotiated over 100 promotion agreements across England and co-founded Anwyl Land with Phil Dolan and the Anwyl family. As Strategic Land and Planning Director, he leads site identification, manage contracts, and guide projects through the planning system, working closely with landowners, agents, and a trusted consultant team to ensure every site is expertly promoted.
Outside of work, Duncan spends his weekends ferrying his kids to sports, coaching his son’s rugby team, and enjoying good food and drink when time allows.

Senior Land Manager

Senior Land Manager
Tim’s career has spanned a wide variety of planning roles, from local authority to consultancy, but has predominantly focused on housebuilding and land promotion.
Tim now has over 25 years’ experience in the industry, but began his career with Michael Courcier promoting Whittingham Hospital, Goosnargh for development, watching it happen in line with the original masterplan twenty years later. With such vast experience, Tim brings fantastic knowledge to his role, with the responsibility of reviewing the planning and promotion of potential of sites.
Away from his day job, Manchester United fan Tim has spent 12 years coaching Chester RUFC’s youth teams, but with his son now moving into senior rugby, he’s considering a second labrador to walk!

Strategic Land Manager

Strategic Land Manager
Having begun his career as part of a national housebuilder’s graduate scheme, Tom has spent the last five years working across various functions of the industry, gaining well-rounded knowledge of the sector.
Upon moving back to the North West, Tom joined our growing team as Strategic Land Manager. He is now responsible for identifying and delivering new land opportunities, as well as promoting existing land assets — drawing on his strong experience in maximizing value and salability.
Tom is a frequent tennis player and a regular weekend walker (with a pub pit stop), and he has recently taken up golf in an attempt to hold his own!
