Phil has over 25 years’ experience in the house building and development industry, having started his career with Beazer Homes who became Persimmon Homes where he progressed to Land Manager.
Following a short role at PJ Livesey Group, Phil joined Barratt Homes Manchester as Senior Land Manager to help lead their land team. The team was responsible for acquiring 1,500 new build residential plots per year.
Phil subsequently joined a national strategic land company where he rose to Group Land Director, and had overall responsibility for all the land activities and functions. He managed over £550m worth of residential land sales and deals agreed which, in turn, generated over £1 billion of gross development value and providing much-needed market and affordable homes to the UK.
As a Director of Anwyl Land, Phil is involved in all key decisions associated with the business, including negotiation of suitable opportunities for both immediate and longer term redevelopment. His knowledge, skill, drive and dedication are applied to every planning application and site we promote. With his meticulous attention to detail and his passion and determination to succeed, Phil is key to Anwyl Land’s success as the business continues its organic and sustainable growth.
Outside of work, Phil enjoys travelling, is an avid Manchester United fan, and always makes time for long family walks at the weekend.
